The Last Confession by Roger Crane

I read this morning that David Suchet will be appearing in a stage play called The Last Confession in Toronto next year.  The play by Roger Crane is based around the election and death of Pope John Paul I.  I have a vague recollection that the BBC produced a radio play version a few years back.  Does this ring a bell with anyone?

  • I decided to upload my entire WKD library, rather than just the one play.

The files are in the Drama forum.

    • Most generous of you, Bob.  I was looking for one play and you provided a library.  Thanks again.

    • That's either over-zealous or overkill, depending on your POV. :>)

  • That would be Wally K. Daly's 1997 play "The Death of an Unimportant Pope."  :>)

Cardinal Yago approaches a writer 18 years after the fact to pass onto him the truth about how Pope John-Paul I died - he was murdered!

I can post it if you're interested.

    • Please do.

    • I'll second that. Thanks Bob.

    • When I get home this evening, I'll put it up.
