Dr Blake Australian TV

Does anyone have copies of the Dr. Blake TV series to share?  And while on the subject of Australian TV - is the third season of the Miss Fisher Mysteries available also?

Thanks in advance.

  • The first two episodes of series 3 of Phryne Fisher were only filmed last month, so I don't expect to see the show back before next year.

    • Season 3 of Dr Blake can be viewed or downloaded from Youtube:

Also the first 6 episodes of season 3 Miss Fisher's Mysteries

There are other copies available on youtube but they are in that maddening reduced screen format.

    • The entire thrid season of Doctor Blake is available on my server.

The latest season of Miss Fisher is still underway, with episode eight due tomorrow. I'll post the series when complete.

    • Pardon a "newbie" question.  But what is the difference between avi and srt files?  Do you download them both?

    • SRT is the subtitle file.   I like to have them on hand if the show is likely to be difficult to follow (e.g. if it is Scottish!)

    • or Aussie ... :>)

You don't _need_ the SRT files, but they are so small, it's easier to grab them just in case.

    • Looking forward to it.

      Thanks

    • Youtube is now blocking the Dr. Blake and Miss Fisher videos.  Bummer! So much for the links I posted earlier.

In case anyone is interested, here is a look behind the scenes of the making of the series.  This was included on the S2 DVD release.

    • Just spent the last few hours binging on the first few episodes.  A very good series.  My wife and I enjoy these sorts of period mysteries.

I'd also like to suggest that this discussion be linked to Whodunit and the Contemporary Video groups. There might be other members with an interest in murder mysteries but who don't follow this request group.
