I used to know Bert Chandler - he stopped in to see me and Don Tuck whenever his ship was in port - but I don't know of audio versions of the Grimes series. It would make a great radio serial though.

Not cheap. You could buy copies of the original paperbacks for what they charge for the audiobook edition.

Additionally, the reader has no CV anywhere online. These volumes seem to be the bulk of his work, and all released so close together that it gives one pause.
I'd shop around a bit and I certainly wouldn't buy more than one volume before I heard this guy's voice and interpretation.
