The Lion For Real by Allen Ginsberg features musical accompaniment by Bill Frisell, Philip Glass, Paul McCartney and others.
This is a more difficult work to comprehend (or even to enjoy) as the style is different than the usual Ginsberg readings, or even his work with Bob Dylan.
The musical accompaniment often overshadows the readings and is occasionally discordant and jarring.
I've included Ginsberg's notes on each piece as the first file.
