Roger Joseph McGough CBE (born 9 November 1937) is a well-known English (Liverpool) performance poet and writer. He currently presents the BBC Radio 4 programme 'Poetry Please'. He is a Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University and is President of the Poetry Society.

Back in the 1960's-70's the Liverpool Poets were every where. Roger was one of them.
