Alfred, Lord Tennyson - Idylls of the King

This is the complete Idylls of the King, narrated by Charlton Griffin. He is a better prose reader (especially of the Roman historians) than he is a verse reader but listeners will enjoy his strong narrative style.

I've added Basil Rathbone's The Passing of Arthur and Benedict Flynn's Naxos retelling of the legend. Note the useful 'Synopsis and Analysis' which outlines the plot of each of the twelve stories.

Note: Because of the size of some of the individual files (over 100 MB) and the total size (just short of one gig), I have been forced to upload this folder to my private server.

  • Bob...do you have a reading for Tennyson's prophetic "Lockesley Hall"? Not sure if you've posted any, but how about his Sonnets (done in iambic pentameter)?
