Come Fly with me - the story of Jimmy Van Heusen - BBC

Apologies first. part 1: there is a 40 second intro. which is the end of the previous programme.  The end of side 1 contains the news, which helps me date the programme to February 2010. Part 2 covers just the programme.  These occasional lapses were due to my assumption that only I would be listening to the programme.

As to Mr Van Heusen: a fascinating story - a man like others of his time, produced the most wonderful music, often interpreted by master Arrangers and wonderful bands. Hope that you enjoy it.

    Sorry Theron, but I am so new to Times Past that I am still trying to get to grips with the upload process. I thought that I had added the following link. I now know better.  Apologies also to anyone else looking for this.  I have a few more to upload - must do better!!

    Maybe it's me who's missing something inn the mix Peter, but I can't find any link to "Come Fly With Me - The story of Jimmy Van Heusen -  BBC" .. I'm not seeing either a link or a fie for the show. The story of Jimmy Van Heusen has always intrigued me, so I'd love to hear this. Maybe I'm not searching I'm the right place on this discussion group. Drop me a quick email if I've screwed up on my end. Thanks so much -- T
