you can find
BBC Who Sold The Soul 3 of 3 eps
BBC Prisoner Soul 20131028 1of1 ep
BBC2 Didn't It Rain When The Blues Came To Britain 1of1 ep
BBC2 Hugh Laurie's Blues Changes 6of6 eps
Didn't it rain is a fascinating story --if you search YouTube - key words like Chorlton Railway Station! and Sister Rosetta Tharpe you can find some video of the event
I disagreed with a kep point of who sold the soul (great title though) as the record industry has been ripping off whites as well as blacks since inception -- better question -- how did most or a great many musicians of all colors get so disadvantaged vis a vis the recording industry
interesting the BBC pays much more quality attention to American culture than our own audio and video sources
Hugh Laurie is very entertaining - I've listened to his two blues albums and although they are Blue lite -- the great Bluesmen of old have nothing to worry about competition wise - Laurie's renditions are still very listenable
