    • Hi any idea how i might download BBC version of Narnia? Regards

      Martin

    • Martin,

I have posted in this group to keep from bothering the original poster every time someone wants this excellent set.  I have paid storage that I keep my posts and the posts of others that are truly worth keeping.  Thank you again Lefevre of Montpellier.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------  R

The Complete Chronicles of Narnia (BBC) LINK to Post

    • Thank You very much!  -------------------------------  R

  • Regarding the BBC Narnia series, I received an email from someone who was attempting to download the files and they informed me that the links were dead.

Is there a more reliable service than Sendspace?

    Thank you

    • We have lately found A Drive to be very reliable.  I also use initials on the outermost file seen by anyone on A Drive.

it may take a few minutes to figure out how it works but it is easy from there.

First after you sign up you go to create a directory.  For this something like BeebCON .  Once you have done that double click to open the directory you made.  In the upper right is upload files, click on it.  You can then load all the mp3 files into it, no one at a time crap. once you have done and they are all uploaded you check the check mark on the right and all files will check.  You then go below and click on share.  now for an upload with multiple files like this. you are finished here.  On the left click on my files and go back and find the initial directory BeebCON or whatever you used make a check mark on the right like you did on the others but this time only in the empty space of the master file.  You the click on share again.  On the right of the file is a symbol of a magnifying glass.  Click on it and a new screen will open up. Highlight the address URL.  Right click on it and click on "Copy Link Location"  Now just go back to your post on Times Past and paste it into the Times Past Link maker on the page as nomal.  If you followed the directions when you or anyone else clicks on the link it will open up a list of all the files that can be either downloaded singly or all at once in a rar file.  Sure beats the heck out of one at a time both posting and downloading.  ---------------------------------------  R

    • Thank you for this info Rick and sorry for the inconvenience!

    • No inconvenience, I wish more people would ask.  I always try to find a site for storage that is easy for me to post to and is also easy for others to download from.  A-Drive seems to be the best for both and even if you buy more storage, which I do, it is quite inexpensive and it has other features that I haven't tried yet.  If you try it you will like it.  ------------------------  R

    • I would agree with Rick about ADrive. Inexpensive, convenient and it allows paid members to upload via FTP, which was VERY helpful when uploading all 242 plays in the LATW set!

    • The BBC set you uploaded Lefevre of Montpellier appears to have been deleted.  I was going to try again to download but cannot find it.  -----------------------  R
