The original Tale Spinners were recorded in England about 1960, and were released in the UK as Atlas Tale Spinners with a vinyl record and read-along book. A few years later, the Atlas Tale Spinners recordings were released in the US as Tale Spinners for Children. More titles were added to the US Tale Spinners series throughout the 1960's.
