Here is the latest release of the popular Sherlock Homes series from Big Finish, starring Nicholas Briggs as Holmes (voice of the Daleks and Cybermen, author of many books and audio drams, and great voice actor) and Richard Earl as Watson.

It is 1901. Sherlock Holmes and Watson are drawn out of their comfortable retirements to with brutal attacks all over London. And in the shadows, an old enemy is lurking, wanting revenge against the greatest detective.

There are so many different Sherlock Holmes audio dramas out there. It is probably the most popular dramatized story in audio. The Big Finish approach is more toward original stories as opposed to the Doyle stories. Somehow, despite having heard so many Sherlock Holmes stories, this manages to be fresh and new. A lot of this is the voice talent of Nicholas Briggs and chemistry with Richard Earl.

Any fan of Sherlock Holmes and audio dramas in general will enjoy this new release from Big Finish. And, fans of Nicholas Briggs will get their fix as well. Briggs is an king of voice acting. He was the Doctor in the Audio Visuals back in the 1990s and his names are in the credits of all things related to Doctor Who and Big Finish. He also is a great author and director in his own right.
