I have placed this in Headphone for it's sound and the sheer number of Genres it encompasses. I was not comfortable placing it in any of different genres, but if I had to make a choice it would have been Victorian Gothic Horror. Enjoy! ----------------------------- R
A JOURNEY WITH STRANGE BEDFELLOWS
"A Journey With Strange Bedfellows" is a Victorian Gothic horror audio drama comprised of six (6) classic short stories that have been melded together into one adventure. Appropriate for Halloween, this audio adventure can be enjoyed year 'round.
Set in the late 1800s, accompany Hunter Brown on a quest to secure true love as he searches for mysterious Faith Geibel, the young woman of his desires. The harrowing journey begins in Victorian Great Britain, moves to Paris then eastward to Hungary and finally, to western Romania (former Transylvania). After overcoming insurmountable odds, and grave personal loss, Hunter must make the ultimate sacrifice to remain in Faith's existence. Socially shy and a bit uncertain, Hunter becomes a determined man with purpose and great inner strength over the course of his journey. There are twists and turns, surprises, lost souls and plenty of blood. Timeless Gothic horror themes and elements are an inescapable constant that compels listeners to experience the tale by candlelight.

Oh, sir - you just made my night ! Thank you !
Thank you!
Have you uncovered a treasure trove of Final Rune stuff?
I like Greenhaigh's group, so this will be a great addition.
Thanks
Bob
It is not a Treasure Trove, it just must be that they are Higher bitrates when downloaded from his site. As for the " A Journey With Strange Bedfellows" piece I had to pay for that one. It had to be downloaded from the Forest Rose site and the Omnibus was $10. The one I paid for is a lower bitrate at 128K than the free ones! Go Figger LOL. My OCD doesn't allow for that kind of thing and it bothers me. ----------------------------------- R
Complain to Fred! He's actually a reasonable guy. Several years ago, he was at DragonCon (quite a trip from the cabin in Maine!) and i heard him speak.
That was not a complaint Bob and I would not complain to Fred. It is just something that bothers me. I understand that the way it was produced and marketed 128K is the Standard bitrate. Fred, most likely had nothing to do with that since it was marketed through the site of the author of the piece. Fred only produced it. You have to occasionally compromise your own values in order to survive in this world and put bread on the table and that is sometimes difficult when you are an artist of any kind. it just bothers me that one with such talent has to succumb to the mass marketing restraints placed on them from big business. I would not complain to him because I am quite sure that if it was only Fred involved it would have been free and 192K. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to survive and that is what bothers me

Fred has to. He even had to do a crowdfunding to keep his Radio Drama revival alive.
