Mycroft Holmes series...Books 1 - 3

Against the Brotherhood - Mycroft Holmes #1 - We learn of Mycroft's secrets throught the eyes of his new secretary, Patterson Guthrie, Guthrie's upper-class education has not prepared him for the rought-and-tumble world of international politics, nor for his encounters with the beautiful and cunning Miss Gatspy, thief, spy, assassin--whatever the situation calls for. Mycroft is revealed to be a vigorous playre at world politics and international skulduggery. Against the Brotherhood is full of attempted assassinations, secret spymasters, anarchist cabals, concealed identities, double- and triple-agents, burglary, and sabotage, all done in true Conan Doyle style.

Embassy Row - Mycroft Holmes #2 - The second novel in the series launched by "Against the Brotherhood" - authorized by Dame Jean Conan Doyle and starring Sherlock Holmes's older brother. Mycroft and his assistant set out to solve a murder that takes place the night of the signing of an agreement to secure England's position in Japanese-controlled waters.

The Flying Scottsman - Mycroft Holmes #3 - To keep the peace after an attempted assassination, a Prince must be smuggled out of England aboard the Flying Scotsman, the fastest train between London and Edinburgh. Disguised as journalists, Mycroft and Patterson Guthrie, guard the Prince. Also aboard is Pauline Gatspy. Is she on Mycroft's side, or is the Prince her latest target?

Note that Fawcett is a pseudonym owned by Bill Fawcett and most often indicating that the writer is Yarbro (but not always)

    • Hi Elaine....I tried to pm you but for some reason I could not.  The link I used expired (I guess? Don't remember using Zippyshare before) but here is where I got the books.  Just click on each d/l link on the right hand side of the screen. A second page will load.  Click on the big Download link in the upper right hand side of the 2nd screen.  This link will start the selected book download.  Depending on the time of day, the load on the server, and your internet connection this process might take several seconds.  There have been times where the d/l might be quite fast.  Please remember to practice save downloading by keeping your virus program up to date and virus scanning anything before opening it.
