When Hollywood Went To War Humphrey Lyttelton presents the story of Hollywood's involvement in the Second World War. He examines the film studios' reactions to the outbreak of war in Europe and how actors such as Greer Garson assisted the war effort by sending food parcels and clothing to Britain. Contributors include comedy writer Hal Kanter, bandleader Ray Anthony and radio director Norman Corwin.
