On the way to a mine in South America British troops are ambushed by the Spanish. Sir Walter Raleigh, out of the Tower for this escapade, is on the ship recovering from illness. A messenger from the group returns to the ship to report that Sir Walter's son Watt is dead. He also reports that spies have been at work and the British plans were known all along. Was this part of the Kings plan?
