Born in Birmingham on May 12th, 1924, the ten years from
1952 saw TOny Hancock rise to become one of the greatest
comic talents this country has ever produced.

Richard Briers presents an affectionate tribute to his
memory - the story of a man who refused to believe that
he was one of the greatest of all time.

With contributions from Dennis Main Wilson, Denis Nordern,
George Fairweather, Alan Simpson, Hugh Lloyd, John Freeman,
Sid James and Bill Kerr.

    Thanks so much.  To me Richard Briers is one of the world's most overlooked fine actors of both comedy and drama.  Thanks again so much for a chance for me to enjoy this retrospective from his viewpoint.

  • Great, look forward to hearin this. I saw Hancock at a personal appearance once and he seemed like one of nature's great clowns. Still sadly missed.
