@ the link below you will fine a complete to date set of both BBC dramatizations of the Duary Of Mr Pepys. Pepys is very much the same person in both the Classic Serial and the Womans Hour/15 Minute Drama versions but both are worth listening too as history expertly dramatized (though I am an absolute Peeps man and find Pepysat best  a Kenneth Widmewrpool before his time).

  • Oh, my heavens, yes.  Pepys as Widmerpool is brilliant.  He had a bit of the Pooter about him as well.

    • ^_^ Be happy to post my BBC Dance v1&v2 if there is interest (v2 iI could not listen more than a few minutes into because it so abuse the original)

  • Thank You Peeps.  ----------------------------------------------------  Rick

    • Youre welcome Rick. Are you a Peepist? I for one consider it a holiday lost if I dont get at least 1 box of each colour. As for Pepys - happy enough to keep him at BBC l's  lengtth (I got the feeling he might have been bi-polar.).

    • Actually, I have never had one, but if you recommend them I might try them.  -------------------  Rick

    • Well, the thing is, they're basically just sugar so there may be health issues but not withstanding that  they're great. Though then again, this may be because I first had Peeps as a child (when they were only yellow and only available at Easter) and you know the old Peepist saying, "give me a child until they are  7 and  they.re mine for life".  Now a days they are sold at Halloween and Christmas (in appropriate shapes and colors) so this Halloween  might be a good uppurtunity to try one. (Be sure to check the date because some stores keep them in the basement for years and bring them out seasonally, and the difference between stale and fresh peeps is the difference betgween night and day.
