Directed by David Hitchinson. 4 episodes: 1992-01-08 to 1992-01-29 48kbps mono; 40.9 MB total; sound quality good After the German invasion of the Channel Islands, the MOD launches a raiding party to rescue a prize cow that the Nazis covet. The story is based on a real incident told to Tickell ten years after the war by an army officer. Although there are touches of romantic comedy to this tale, it is nonetheless a serious drama. [There was also a 1951 film with David Niven and Glynis Johns]
