    Absolutely the best western of the Era. A fave, went to the Mayfair theatre in Ottawa Canada every day and watched twice!(12X) What a cast. Elmer Bernsteins' music! Steve McQueen;Robert Vaughan(Man from U.N.C.L.E.); James Coburn(Our Man Flint!) Charles Bronson! Hollywood tried but never captured the flavour & flair of this movie! If it's on TCM, I watch it! Pull out the DVD once a year for certain.(And Eli Wallach's performance as Calvera!) In my Top Ten with 'The Searchers' & "The Last Wagon"(Richard Widmark) - R.L.
