68 min  -  Horror  -  13 December 1940 (USA)

The Devil Bat (1940) is a black-and-white comedy-horror movie produced by Producers Releasing Corporation (PRC) and directed by Jean Yarbrough. The film stars horror actor Bela Lugosi, along with Suzanne Kaaren, Guy Usher, Yolande Mallott, and the comic team of Dave O'Brien and Donald Kerr as the protagonists. The film later had a 1946 sequel titled Devil Bat's Daughter.  This is the *COLORiZED* version.  It is the exact same movie only color has been added.

The story involves a small town cosmetic company chemist (Lugosi) who is upset at his wealthy employers, because he feels they have denied him his due share of company success. To get revenge, he breeds giant bats. He then conditions them to kill those wearing a special after-shave lotion he has concocted. He cleverly distributes the lotion to his enemies as a "test" product.

  • Uh Rick? When you upload to uploads, where do the movies go? I didn't see anything when I did an upload saying where you want it to go. The reason I asked, is I uploaded Mark of Zorro - Colorized. But now that I uploaded it, I don't know where to tell people to go. If it can be messed up, I'm the guy who can do it! Larry

    • send a note to Robert.  He is the only one that can move things around in the pogoplug at uploads.  Right now it is in the main menu in the Ms.  When Robert sees it he will most likely move it to Classic Movies and TV.  There is a folder in uploads that corresponds to every group at Times past and another set inside of Classic Movies&TV and also inside  Contemporary Movies, IV and Videos.  Next time you upload just find the folder that it goes in and open it and others if need be and then hit the upload button and it will be in the folder you want.  Here is some directions.

The link for the uploads is  https://timespast.ning.com/page/uploads    and just go to the folder of the group post was made in to upload files..

Robert is going to keep it organized for right now, He will check daily and move into folders. All he wants is for uploaders to upload in folder specific to their group and he will do the rest.

The storage is all you can eat and will be free for Times Past members. No limit on file size. Can post large movie, video files also. So load all the audiobooks you want.  It will auto zip for download.  -----------  R

    • Thank you Rick, Sometimes I feel like a nut....... sometimes I am.

  • Thank you! I think all old movies should be colorized!
