While participating in a contest at a local newspaper in which school children are asked to submit a news story, local attorney Carson Drew's daughter Nancy intercepts a real story assignment. She "covers" the inquest of the death of a woman who was poisoned. Nancy doesn't think the young woman accused of the crime is guilty and corrals her neighbor Ted into searching for a vital piece of evidence, and they stumble onto the identity of the real killer.
The movie stars the beautiful actress and accomplished vocalist Bonita Granville.

Hello Codepop! If you give me a couple of days I can get the other three Nancy Drew mysteries uploaded for you. I need to rip them off my DVD-R recordings. They were recorded off TCM some years back but the quality is pretty good. Also, the quality of your uploads would be better if you checked "deinterlace". That would keep the lines out of the picture and make it smoother. Of course watching on a small screen it would not be as noticeable as it is on my 60 inch.
