The Iron Duke

The Iron Duke By L. Ron Hubbard Multi-Cast Performance with music and sound effects featuring Michael Yurchak.

    Stories from the Golden Age

American arms merchant Blacky Lee is wanted by nearly every government in 1930s Europe--especially the Nazis. They want Blacky's head for selling them dud weapons, prompting his rapid (and illegal) escape across the Balkans to the kingdom of Aldoria with his business partner in tow.      Aldoria is well chosen. Years before, Blacky discovered he was the spitting image of the country's Prince Philip, learned the archduke's speaking voice and memorized the royal family tree just in case. When Blacky brazenly impersonates the leader, things go surprisingly well . . . that is, until he finds himself caught in the middle of a Communist plot to rig elections and take over.

Look up on the controls on the empty discussion space above this picture .  The first is link and the second is for pictures.  You just hit it and find the picture on your computer, select it and it will go where your cursor was placed when you started the proces.  I usuall go 2 spaces above the text and select center.  There is only one thing i like more than posting and that is teaching someone else how to.  Enjoy your new talent Larry.  ----------------------------------------  Rick

  • That is awesome, thanks for taking it well, sometimes I get mixed up on titles.  I even looked for the other book to make sure i was right and there are the 2 pieces that named the same.  LOL  Nice post.  Now that i know I was missing one I will have to go over the whole set to see what else.  Thanks for finding that one.  -----------------------------  Rick

    • I also have To The Stars and The King Slayer. They are newer than these other stories, but still pretty good. Still pulpy! Is that even a word? I will miss that site. If you want them, let me know.......Larry

    • Sure, are they audiobooks or dramatised?  If audio books they go in audio books.  I presume they are adventure pulp.  If they are dramatised they go in Adventure and Thrillers.I think I still have some other L Ron stuff, but I post very few audiobooks these days, since I post so much my storage is paid and audiobooks eat up big chunks of it that I would rather save for dramatisations.  I will look though and if you want them I will put them on storage and give you the links and then delete them after you get them.  What site do you miss?

    • Woops! I thought I took down all of that! lol! Demonoid.me. That is where I found The Iron Duke and the other 2. I think both of the other 2 are dramtized. I will check first before I put them up. Iam pretty sure they are though. First, I don't listen to many audio books. Second, Same answer. I download a bunch, but don't always listen to them. I just have them in case I want to. With my nerves, I don't always get to do what I want to do. Example. I have bought about 300 DVD's that I have yet to watch, but I have them for when I can......Larry

    • I used Demonoid also, too bad it is down probably for good.  There are some others, try Kick Ass Torrents, I think they are still up.  I will look around to see if Pirate Bay is still up too. --------  Rick
