A dramatisation of the first novel in the Bounty trilogy. The story of the famous mutiny is told through a fictional first-person narrator named Roger Byam (based on actual crew member Peter Heywood).
TRIVIA: Peter Heywood was later captured, tried and condemned to death as a mutineer, but subsequently pardoned. He resumed his naval career and eventually retired with the rank of Post-Captain, after 29 years of honourable service.
