James Follett - Jumbo
BBC Radio 4: Saturday Night Theatre
Broadcast: Saturday 13th March 1976 @ 8:30 p.m.
When Transatlantic Airlines flight No. TA 510 leaves Kennedy airport for London it seems just another routine flight, but many
tricks of fate are in store. Engine problems force a jumbo jet with 371 people on board to ditch into the atlantic off their
flight-plan. But it's only when the rescue ship turns out to be a Russian trawler with very unusual antennae, that the situation
starts to get difficult.
With Nigel Lambert [Captain Everett], Eva Haddon [Elaine], Leslie Heritage [Mr. Harman], Haydn Jones [Charlie], Paul Meier
[Davies], Deborah Paige [Stewardess], Alan Tilvern [Ted], Jean England [Mary], John Levitt [Trevor], Rosalind Adams
