Waters of the Moon by N.C. Hunter

By N.C. Hunter, adapted for radio by Mollie Hardwick

Just before New Years Eve, in the English countryside near Dartmoor, the Lancasters skid their Rolls Royce into a ditch during a severe snowstorm. They seek shelter nearby in a respectable, though rather run-down, residential hotel. To the hotel's permanent residents, the sophisticated new arrivals provide an electric shock to their flat-line existence and hopes and emotions are raised that had long since been abandoned in their quiet hum-drum lives.
