The Jane Austen BBC Radio Drama Collection

The Jane Austen BBC Radio Drama Collection

This is a wonderful collection, but for my taste has been ruined by some deranged person cutting the bitrate down to 64K.  I cannot fathom why someone would do this.  If it is for the sake of space all I see is more crappy audio.  I will get off my soapbox with a plea for upgrades from some kind soul to rescue my tympanic membranes from the beating of 64K and post some upgrades.

  • Thank you, Rick!!

    • You are all welcome.  I almost didn't post them due to the low bit rates.  I had never seen most of them at all, much less dramas, so I posted them.  It just goes to show you that this is a multi-faceted hobby and one mans trash truly is another man's treasure.  May you all enjoy them.  -----------------------------------------------  R

    • This is one of those cases Rick where the bit rates don't tell the whole story - the sound is good to excellent throughout, regardless of the low BRs

  • Thank you, Rick! These are great stories!!   :)
