The Bell by Vincent Mclnerney

By Vincent Mclnerney

Detective Inspector Crust is on the trail of one of the bridge bells saved during the sinking of the Titanic.

The bell is a rare collector's item and is to be part of Elizabeth Bright's dowry but Tarrant, a psychotic criminal, is also determined to lay his hands on it.

Following the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, the furore that followed the tragedy meant Oliver Bright hid the shipping artifact. When the shipowner dies and daughter Elizabeth prepares to sell the house and contents, the vultures begin to gather at the auction house to pick through his belongings in search of the missing relic.
