Award-winning author, journalist, and playwright, Mark Leech spent much of his early life in care and, latterly, in prison. His autobiography A Product of the System, was published in 1992 and won first prize in the Chambers Cox Literary Awards. He has recently been awarded a Writer's Bursary from the Scottish Arts Council (one of only four people to do so in Scotland in 1993). His first play The facts Speak for Themselves was awarded a BBC Radio Drama Award since which he has gained many further awards for his writing.
It's a 90-minute courtroom drama about a guy who's supposed to have been involved in the robbery of a security van, who says the police fitted him up. The question is, have they fitted him up?
