      j/k of course.  Usenet actually predates this intarwebbby thing. My business partner, Peter, has been on Usenet since the users had ID numbers. He's user 109.  :>)

      One word of advice: if you do start browsing Usenet, make sure your AV is updated, your spam filters are engaged and you have sufficient hard drive space for all the gems you'll find.

    Thank you!  This one is new to me as well.

    Gotta love SadSack. He's one of the best posters on Usenet. I first came across his offerings in WinMx or Napster, i think.

    He still frequents a few very private groups but his Usenet posts are always a treat.
