Thank You Austin. ---------------------------------- R
From the photo, I thought it was Michael Sheen playing Romeo - then I read your description. Douglas Henshall of Shetland & Primeval fame! Hadn't realised he'd done any radio, let alone Sophie Dahl the cook...
Looking forward to hearing this, especially as dear old Freddie Jones is in it.
Many thanks
It is excellent. -------------------------- R

You know, thinking about Shakespeare, I saw the weirdest movie on tv this weekend. It was a Hollywood version of A Midsummer Night's Dream (1935) with a huge cast of stars. Some of the people I recognized was James Cagney, Joe E. Brown, Olivia De Havilland, Dick Powell, and a very young 15 year old by the name of Mickey Rooney. Actually he looks like a 25 year old Rooney head photo shopped onto a skinny 12 year old body. :) I recognized some more but just the faces not the names.
It was so weird yet I couldn't stop watching. The cast, even the big stars, left nothing back and 'played to the audience'. Enjoyable couple of hours but weird. I enjoyed the 1935 special effects which were really good for the time.
