  • Thank you both. By the way, I just checked the BBC IPLAYER site, the program is available here in Framingham, Massachusetts. Maybe because were located in New England.

    • It _appears_ to be available. When you start it in iPlayer, you get a very somnolent BBC voice explaining that it's only available in the UK ... unless they've relented, which is also possible.

      The Beeb occasionally restricts radio content to UK IP addresses, as they do with television content on their website.  In the case of radio broadcasts, it's due to copyright restrictions imposed by the rights holder(s).

      If I were at home, I'd simply use a UK proxy (as i've done many times), but I don't have my proxy list with me.

      In any case, thanks for the cap and the upload.

    Have just edited it and will upload within half an hour.

    I wasn't aware BBC programmes could be restricted to the UK only.

    I learn something new every day.

    Do other countries do the same?
