Everyone in the tiny Dorset village of Moonfleet lives by the sea one way or another, so it's no surprise when young John Trenchard
is drawn into the dangerous world of smuggling when he goes in search of Blackbeard's diamond. But the treasure brings a curse,
and soon John must flee for his life with a price on his head. John little guesses the adventures and trials he will face before he sees
Moonfleet again.

    you can find a fascinating BBC documentary on J Mead Falkner and 2  BBC versions (reading and dramatization) of his other big hit, The Lost Stradivarius.
