  • Hmm, yeah, I just joined, but most chat features have an irc link. I didn't see an irc link. Usually I prefer to just add the channel to my irc client, so I can have several open at once.
  • I tried the chat screen, then couldn't get rid of it so I won't be doing that again. I would love to chat. I wanted to start a chat about the merits of the various Johnny Dollars, but got no interested nibbles. Thanks for the greeting!

    • Gypsy,

I would definitely be interested in chatting with you about all things Johnny Dollar.  I am currently listening to the Phantom Chase Matter, a 10 part episode, actually one of the last multiple episodes before they switched to single weekly episodes.  I guess the important question would be what time zone are you on and when would you likely be on to chat?  I am on Eastern Standard Time (I live in Maryland, United States) and am usually on in the morning and late at night.  Let me know when you would want to chat!

  • I have just joined up with Times Past. My interest in Old Time Radio drew me in the Calfkiller site where I noticed that you have a complete run of the Whistler shows, which I enjoyed hearing as an eight year old boy. I also noticed that you have a site on westerns, of which I am also interested. I have a five foot shelf on books on westerns and serials, in addition to having met some of the people who were involved in making them. If you have a question about an old radio show or western, contact me at mike.newton30@yahoo.com and I will try to answer. Best regards from the old Dialturner. That's my moniker on the other radio site I belong to, OTR fan.
    • I used to ride the ottoman around the living room while listening to the Loan Ranger!
