It seems to me that several of the classical music programs are missing. Such as
CHASE & SANBORN HOUR WITH NELSON EDDY(ALL THE 1939-1939) SHOWS
MAGIC KEY OF RCA, HUGE GAPS FROM THE SERIES
FORD SUNDAY EVENING HOUR-NONE SEEM TO BE AROUND
PAUSE THAT REFRESHES THE AIR
THE STANDARD HOUR(HUGE GAPS FOR THIS SERIES)
OLD GOLD SHOW WITH NELSON EDDY(1942-1943)
GREAT MOMENTS IN MUSIC-ONLY HAVE A FEW OF THESE
THERE ARE QUITE A LOT OF COLLECTORS FOR THESE TYPE OF SHOWS.THAT I KNOW OF.
I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THESE SHOWS ARE MISSING AND NOT AVAILABLE.
IF I COLLECTED SHOWS SUCH AS FIBBER MCGEE, OR JACK BENNY. THERE WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM, BUT MY AREA OF INTEREST ID VERY MUCH UNDER UNDER REPRESENTED, ESPECIALLY VIA INTERNET DEALERS, WHO SEEM TO HAVE MUCH THE SAME STUFF.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, I KNOW OF NOWHERE TO APPROACH?

I sent you a personal message, Dan.
I COULD NOT FIND THE DISCUSSION IN THAT FORUM GROUP;
THANKS ANYWAY.
It's in the Swap Forum.
Hello Dan,
Some of the shows you mentioned can be found here to download - http://otrrlibrary.org/
They also list some recommended OTR Dealers.
Steve
Thanks for the reply. I have already gone down that road Internetarchive-OTRCAT etc.plus many others.
What I really need is someone who wants to take the time and trouble to encode these missing shows and get them out there.
A few years back a chap in America, (I will not name him) had these missing shows on a hard drive that was apparantly corrupted and useless. I still have his list of Magic key shows and he had them. So you see someone have these broadcasts. The LOC in Washington has quite a few of them but their prices are sky high, I know myself from experience.
If you come across any shows Steve, just let me know, I have a lot of unusual and rare items.
regards
dan
I will keep my eyes open, Dan.
