OTR TimesPast Podcast 1

Hi Estleman: Thanks for the info on the Batman Mystery Club. I've always wondered what happened and if they ever finished the "cliffhanger".

Hi Estleman: I found an episode/series called Batman Mystery Club, The Monster of Dumphrey. I consider you to be our resident expert on Superheros. Do you know the history of this series. I found only one show. I have the question posted under the new group.
thanks, katy

Estleman, sorry I missed talkng with you on the 12th. Been really under the weather. Thanks for all the great contributions. What a great group. I noticed a lady from Canada joined recently. I would love to know what cities everyone hails from. Sorry about last two weeks. Lupus dictates how things will be unfortunately. Does anyone else enjoy the Perry Mason TV episodes,(soundtracks) put up by Robert on Calfkiller as much as I do? I remember whole family watching every episode on TV and trying to guess whodunit! Of my mum, dad, two older sisters and one younger brother, only my mum was right on a regular basis.(Because they wrote it NOT to be who one would suppose it would be). Ron L. in Ottawa.(Did see some great HOCKEY while taking it easy though!)

" E " This is Great! Good Start! Thanks. Hopefully I can remember my password this time! What's good about getting old? Absolutely LOVE 5 part ' Slipstream'! Listen to a lot of Lovecraft and DR.Who etc. Have to learn how to UPLOAD from this end,as I have some great Sci-Fi to contribute! Maybe you or Rick can help. Have you heard BBCs version of John Windhams' The Kraken Wakes? It's Superb! - Ron L. in Ottawa. (Sorry I was away so long,Hockey playoffs just started, and being Canadian Eh.........)

For me it was close to the same. My interest started with Sherlock, then that was replaced with scifi when I was introduced to it by a cousin. The first scifi Book I read as a young teen was Cities in Flight by James Blish. After that the interest went rampant for awhile. All this time I was listening to shows still on in a dying part of US radio that of the spoken word as entertainment as it was being replaced by the idiot box otherwise known as the television. I started buying OTR after college, then lost the interest in OTR until I became disabled and had an overabundance of time on my hands and found that I could get almost anything I wanted to keep myself busy on usenet. that's when OTR came back to the forefront. I finally was able to combine all the interests into collecting mp3s of OTR and I even had the time to enjoy the collection. Sometimes even bad things have a good component. So today it has turned into an interest that is centered on OTR, mainly Scifi, mystery, the occult, and offshoots into flying saucers, alien visitation, Coast To Coast and anthing strange or mysterious.
