How are you doing down under?
Archie Andrews 46-07-06 "masked marvel"
I used to read all the Archie comics when I was a schoolboy. As far as I can recall, this is a fairly accurate adaptation. Though I don't remember any professional wrestlers in the stories I read!
Charlie McCarthy 450502
Guest star is surprisingly not a movie star or an entertainer but scientist Dr Max Mason, who takes time off from directing the construction of the Palomar observatory to spar with Bergen and McCarthy. I love Charlie's makeshift telescope.
The Clock 48-04-25 "bad dreams"
Competently done, but I don't think anybody would have been surprised by the ending of this dark brooding tale of a henpecked husband who is haunted by a bad dream.
Saturday Play BBC Radio Four 2008-04-26 - "The Small Back Room"
Good job of adapting Nigel Balchin's novel about a bomb disposal expert who has to fight both Nazi booby-traps and British bureaucracy. Balchin was a bestseller in his day but I'm not sure how well-known he is today. Maybe this play will inspire people to dig out some of his novels.
Would you perchance have any episodes of the Australian version of Philip Marlowe? If so, would you post them?
