downloads

If you go to my music box you will find some downloads I have uploaded to other sites. Just click on the arrow next to the show and the whole playlist should open up for you, I hope. The latest one I put in today is some episodes of One Man's Family. I hope it is something everyone can download. Let me know if it works.

Thanks,

Shirley

Car Club Special Show

I am experimenting here. I can't seem to hyperlink for some reason, but if you go to this link:

http://www.thelinkup.com/shared/kvq1ftx4adb0

you will be able to download 10 episodes of Car Club Special. This is a variety show that derives its features from the "March of Events and City Life Section" of the Sunday issue of the Hearst Newspapers.

Could someone please let me know if these are downloadable?

Thanks,

Shirley

Thanks Shirley, you are very kind. Pink Elephats was yet another that I became aware of via my mum but I seem to remember reading somewhere that Phil Harris recorded it. It's certainly the sort of thing he would have done as it's outrageously infectious and catchy. A true novelty song if ever there was one. You know I sometimes play piano with a little six piece band that does all these old pieces and I meant to mention before that one of the songs we do is -Ain't gonna give you none of my jelly roll, - it's a really up to date band as you can imagine.!!!!
John.

ps. love your other site by the way. J.

Nice uploads Shirley - I loved, - Ain't gonna give uou none of my jelly roll, - Phil Harris, - didn't he record -Pink Elephants ? I don't suppose you've got that one have you? - I'm listening to -Shadraq at the moment - my mother used to often sing this around the house and apart from that this is the first time I've ever heard it so it's quite a special song in it's own way as my mum is no longer alive and this reminds me of her.

Many thanks,

John.

That's ok Shirley, I'm glad you're enjoying it. I discovered Jelly Roll when I was just twenty in 1965 and have been a fan ever since. I have everything he's ever recorded so just let me know if there's anything you want.

Best wishes,

John.

No emails

Has anybody experienced this problem? I have not received emails from TimesPast in over 2 weeks now. I have been receiving emails on a regular basis announcing posts of new programs, and other group actions, but suddenly, the emails stopped coming in. Sure, I can go to the site and look for myself to see what's new, but I miss the emails.
If anybody else has had this problem please let me know. I love this site, but have felt left out of the loop lately.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Uploading stuff

Hi all

I'm new to the site, and was wondering about a couple of things

Firstly I have quite a bit of Paul Temple stuff, I was going to upload it ( I dont know how to do this) but I was wondering what the legal standing of it was..They are all BBC productions but as I am sure you know they have been recently released. If I was able to upload them ( Is there a section here that can help me?) would it be legal?

Cheers
