Curiously, there seems to be no option to reply to your most recent postings - but I want to say how much I appreciate the treasury of HPL that you've provided. Thanks! Roger

Hello Roger

Thank you very much, it is a great site! I just tried some audio and the sound is fine. Bit bewildering but I think I can see so far how to find programmes to listen to - and so many other interesting genres, right up my street!

But enough of the laptop now and off to a real book!
Goodnight and thank you again

Hi Roger:

I've uploaded the following Bert Coules play to Romance on the Radio:

LOST EMPIRES
Original Broadcast - Classic Serial
September 18 to October 2, 1994

One of BBC 7's favourite dramatists is Bert Coules and, from his wide range of radio work, his personal favourite is his three-part dramatisation of J.B. Priestley's Lost Empires.

Hi Roger

Re your transfer of Wobble to Death from cassette. If you have a lot of stuff to transfer please ask if I already have it. I started transferring seriously about 18 months ago then found the download community and discovered that a lot of what I had was already available as MP3. That meant I could then just concentrate on converting stuff which was rare.

All the best

Download what you can from Comedy/Musical ASAP (I've added a lot of Just a Minutes and Radio Actives recently). For reasons I'm unaware of, Majorshaw has decided to delete all threads he started, including this one.

PS Be in touch soon.

Have a look at the "Holmes Alone" thread I've set up on the Mystery & Detection Group - there may be some material you don't yet have.

New here!

My grandfather was an engineer at Detroit's WJR from 1943 until sometime in the 1970s. Beginning in 1943, he kept any of the on-air transcription discs that interested him, and also made his own copies and compilations of music and programs. I've inherited his collection of over 250 glass- and aluminum- based transcription discs and am finally in the process of transferring them to digital.

I have complete shows of programs like American Melody Hour, Meet the Missus (a local Detroit program), S…

No emails

Has anybody experienced this problem? I have not received emails from TimesPast in over 2 weeks now. I have been receiving emails on a regular basis announcing posts of new programs, and other group actions, but suddenly, the emails stopped coming in. Sure, I can go to the site and look for myself to see what's new, but I miss the emails.
If anybody else has had this problem please let me know. I love this site, but have felt left out of the loop lately.

Uploading stuff

Hi all

I'm new to the site, and was wondering about a couple of things

Firstly I have quite a bit of Paul Temple stuff, I was going to upload it ( I dont know how to do this) but I was wondering what the legal standing of it was..They are all BBC productions but as I am sure you know they have been recently released. If I was able to upload them ( Is there a section here that can help me?) would it be legal?

Cheers
