I used to ride the ottoman around the living room while listening to the Loan Ranger! Gypsy

I tried the chat screen, then couldn't get rid of it so I won't be doing that again. I would love to chat. I wanted to start a chat about the merits of the various Johnny Dollars, but got no interested nibbles. Thanks for the greeting! Gypsy

I will get them off of Calfkiller's website. I have only listened to a few of them and they were all Bob Bailey's. To tell the truth, I didn't like them at all, well actually I didn't like the person playing the character so I never downloaded any more. O will try the CRs and see if they are more to my liking. I was just trying to get you to post your favorites so I could listen to "the best" and maybe get a liking for the earlier shows. Always up for trying something new, will let you know after I download them and listen to a couple---Rick

Gypsy, I have only Bob Baileys, do you think you could post a few Charles Russells in your Johnny Dollar discussion, so that us uninitiated can hear the difference and be able to discuss the subject knowledgeably. TIA-------------------Rick

Evan has A Request for "Jamaica Inn" by Daphne De Maurier

Does anyone have the BBC radio dramatization of Daphne DeMauier's "Jamaica Inn" or know where I can find it to download? - FromEvan

This request was mistakenly placed in he Whodunit group where the title would be mistaken for an upload and not a request. Request was erased from Whodunt--------------------Rick

snt plays!

Hi Attempting to upload a play to Whodunnit!

New here!

My grandfather was an engineer at Detroit's WJR from 1943 until sometime in the 1970s. Beginning in 1943, he kept any of the on-air transcription discs that interested him, and also made his own copies and compilations of music and programs. I've inherited his collection of over 250 glass- and aluminum- based transcription discs and am finally in the process of transferring them to digital.

I have complete shows of programs like American Melody Hour, Meet the Missus (a local Detroit program), S…

No emails

Has anybody experienced this problem? I have not received emails from TimesPast in over 2 weeks now. I have been receiving emails on a regular basis announcing posts of new programs, and other group actions, but suddenly, the emails stopped coming in. Sure, I can go to the site and look for myself to see what's new, but I miss the emails.
If anybody else has had this problem please let me know. I love this site, but have felt left out of the loop lately.
