Question?????

Have a question for all you timespast fans out there. In the past I have posted multiple files by zipping them using either 7zip of IZArc zipping programs. I had a couple of people tell me, they were having trouble unzipping the files. So here's the question; How do you prefer your files, if there is too many to post individually? Is there a better (more common) zipping source I am missing? If there is a better way to post let me know, I want it… Continue

Hi, 5Card. Just stopped by to say Happy Yule and have a great New Year. I just got around to discovering the Hamish McB stories you uploaded and they're great. :D Thanks so much.

Well, I hope the weather is OK tornado-wise where you are-- now that we had a cyclone/hurricane here. (The insurance ppl can't decide which it was.)

Have a great Christmas and thanks again, Effie

Thanks and sorry for taking so long to reply.  I signed up and then got overcome by other events and am just now getting back to enjoy some old time radio.  I grew up listening to radio as we didn't get a TV in the house until 1952 or 53.  So there's a number of these old shows that I recall listening to as a youngster.  Thanks to all for creating this wonderful resource on the web.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I tried to unzip them and tried to
change the extension. Neither worked. However, I was able to down them from another source. I really appreciate your posts and, again, thanks for checking
back with me. Suzanne

You know we should have a group to warn us of what stuff is to be taken down. This way we could download what we need, before they disappear. Who the hell is in TP and monitoring us? Kindly give me your name or initials.

Hi, 5C. Or shall I call you Lurch, now? lol Cool avatar pic! Well, if living in tornado alley means you have to deal with these tornados all the time, you must be really brave is all I can say. Urrrggg...you managed to embed a video, too. Would you please share the secret? Or did you learn at the Little Schoolhouse? So, no tornados lately where you are? Or are they seasonal? NYC has never had one, AFAIK, before the last two. Yes, two! Well, your page looks great. I haven't had time to listen to an entire HB book yet, since my guy is not into it, at all. I've misplaced my iPod, so I can't add anything and listen with headphones. Yep, I actually did lose my iPod. Don't ask. Later, Lurch. lol Effie

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for posting the Hamish MacBeth by M C Beaton
stories. I see the posts will be taken down. I had been able to download
all the regular mp3 posts but cannot open the zipped files. I use Ken
Ward's Zipper to unzip and it just shows a message: The zip appears to be incomplete or it isn't a zip file. I use Windows 7. Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated since I really love this series.
Thanks so much. Suzanne

Wow, you are quick on the reply. lol Tom Swift Collection--> Great Christmas Present. It's nice to know that someone else collects and reads these books. eBay was a great place for this stuff, until prices hit the roof. Hey, I only asked about the weather because it's been so weird here. Tornados in NYC? Honestly, it's just too strange. We have rain and more rain, and possibly a storm or three to look forward to...for the next week or so. We had another tornado warning a few days ago, and thank God it didn't happen. The meteorological geniuses didn't see the first one coming, so no warning. How in the world do you miss a tornado, with 100 mph winds? I had every window in my place open, of course. And since I stick stuff like plants and some books on the sills, it was a total frack up. (Ever watch the new Battle Star Galactica? I loved it. They say frack instead of the "F-word". Very useful. lol ) Well, enough yapping from me. Have a good one, man. Thanks for everything... Effie.

God, I love your pics!! :)) Boston Blackie was a good one...in film or radio. Sometimes, I think I can watch any movie from the 30's-40's on TCM, just to look at the clothes and furniture, etc. Not talking about BB, however. ;)) I had to go offline for basically the whole day, so I am going to upload Frank and Joe, sons of Fenton Hardy, ex-NYC detective now. Please tell me you read them as a kid... Everything OK weather-wise, where you live? Thanks again, 5Card!!

Big time Boo-boo

I have messed around and deleted the ‘S’ folder from the library.  I am in the process of restoring it but it will take several days.  I’ll get Saturday Night Theatre up as soon as possible. jimb

To All Library Users

I have made a boo-boo somehow and accidentally moved all the ‘S’ Files to the bottom of the ‘R’ folder.  Until I can figure out a way to fix this, this is where you can find them. Anyone with a solution, mail me off-list. Thanks jimb
