Hi Bob,
If you have the time I would much appreciate the Marcy Kahan collection. Thank you!!
Bob, Thanks I revised the list to include names as you suggested. I'm not familiar with the Skyline account.
Thanks again for your help.
Walter
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the friend request. Yes, I have been a Holmes fan since the mid '70's when I first watched the Basil Rathbone films on BBC2 , on a B/W 11' Portable TV. I was hooked right away. The Hound Of The Baskervilles is still my favourite movie and over the years I have collected as many different versions as I can. Naturally, this as been made easier the last ten years, using the internet. These movies also led to a keen interest in Jack The Ripper and most things Victorian. My first JTR books were Don Rumbelow's The Complete JTR; and Stephen Knight's The Final Solution. In the intervening years both collections have increased at a regular pace, so much so, that I have separate bookcases for my Sherlock and Jack collections.
Again, thank you for the friendship invite.
Cheers, Michael
Well said sir.
So .. in order to kowtow to the God Of Cupertino, you re-encode files, diminishing their quality just so you can upload them to a file storage area KNOWN to invade your privacy?
I own every iteration of Apple's music and tablet doodads, if only because clients are entranced by them. I would never trust Apple with any files, just as I don't trust the behemoth to their north.
I use password-protected private storage and if I need to access music, etc. for one of the devices, I access it there. No need to bastardize files and no one is keeping a list of my favorite music.

I went to the ALWAYS1895 website, but encountered dead links when I clicked on "CONTACT US" or "THE SOCIETY (private)". Is the always 1895 site under construction? The site sounds facinating. Any help would be appreciated.
You have an email from me. ---------------------------------------------- Rick
