Comment by Mike on September 29, 2012 at 10:58am Can anyone suggest a good, possibly free, audio file splitter? My MP3 player will not allow me to pick up a recording, without going to the beginning of the track and doesn't allow for scanning. It's great and allows the above with other formats. Because of this, I tend to cut all shows into about 20 minute segments and have been using "NCH Slice Audio File Splitter." Unfortunately, it tends to cut off the last two-three minutes of every recording, thereby causing me to miss the ending of many shows and audio books. I've contacted the company numerous times and have basically been told to reinstall the software and to send them a show that has been cut off for their analysis. The software has been reinstalled four times, with the same cutoff result. Makes no sense to me to send them an incomplete file. How does one analyze nothing?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

Comment by william warren on September 8, 2011 at 10:16am Further to Rick`s post of 7th September re uploading files using http://ge.tt/
Norton report this as a MALICIOUS WEBSITE and have automatically blocked access.
I have found "Skydrive" easy to work following Rick`s advice.

Comment by Riklaa on September 6, 2011 at 3:23pm Go to folder and a new page will open Tye the name of the project and stit for a few friends. you will get a screen with files next to the folder icon. hit on files and it will take you to your computer. It depends on whether your computer accepted all the setup in the beginning of Silverlight what screen comes up next. It will either be a numbered list for files separately or a link to your computer to upload all the files at once you want. Either way after you get the files uploaded you will be at a menu that has the option to make a link. Go to it and hit "Get a Link" Do not use the link already made. Hit the lower one called Make a link, that one is for people to use the link from anther site like Times Past. Make the link and use that one. It will be an Http link and you use the icon on TP that says Link up where the picture placement icons are. This will put the link you copy into it whereever your cursor is blinking when you make the link.
The site is very hard to use and even harder to explain. If you still have trouble and are frustrated enough to say "The hell with it" then the easiest site I have found to use and is very self explanatory is: ge.tt. com
I hope I have helped. it took me a long time and infinite trial and error to get skydrive to work right. Sometimes it does and sometimes for no reason it just doesn't work right. What do you expect from Microsoft? LOL

Comment by william warren on September 6, 2011 at 2:53pm Can anyone advise me regarding using "Skydrive" to share my audiofiles with the groups? I get a headache trying to make sense of the settings and my searches don`t produce any helpful results. As for creating a link....AAAHHH
