
It wasn’t just the Dome and the London Eye, you know. As the new Millennium approached, people in every city, town and village were meeting to decide how they were going to mark the great event.
In the little Essex village of Midsummer Laver, all sorts of ideas were discussed, argued and even fought over before the one brilliant plan was agreed. But we all know what happens to the best-laid plans of mice and men, don’t we?

Times Past is now on Ning PLUS. The current rate for PLUS is $239.90 per year. It is paid by voluntary contributions from our members who can help out. The yearly fee from Ning covers all our members regardless of number. All members are welcome here whether they can contribute or not. No member is asked to participate.
